Ingredients

  • 350 g veal mince

  • 2 sprigs of oregano

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 small onion

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ jar of Think Tomato

  • Bread, to serve

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 195°C (385°F).

  2. Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel and crush the garlic.

  3. In a bowl, mix the minced veal with the chopped onion, garlic, oregano leaves, egg, and breadcrumbs.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Shape the mixture into meatballs (about 5 cm in diameter).

  6. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and brown the meatballs for 5 minutes, turning them until nicely coloured.

  7. Pour the Think Tomato sauce over the meatballs and place the pan in the oven.

  8. Let everything simmer in the oven for 7 minutes.

  9. Serve with freshly sliced bread.
