🕑 30 minutes 🍴 Serves 3
Ingredients
-
16 dried cannelloni tubes (lately I use fresh lasagna sheets because I don’t always find it easy to fill cannelloni 😂)
-
Salt and pepper
-
1 broccoli
-
250 g ricotta
-
Gruyère cheese
-
Optional: 300 g minced meat
-
2 jars of Think Tomato
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
-
Cook the broccoli until tender (it can even be slightly overcooked).
-
Drain the broccoli and let it cool slightly.
-
Add the ricotta to the broccoli, season with salt and pepper, and mash everything together (I use a potato masher).
-
Optional: add the minced meat now (no need to cook it beforehand, as everything will bake in the oven).
-
Fill the cannelloni tubes (good luck 😉), or place some of the broccoli mixture on a fresh lasagna sheet and roll it up.
-
Place the filled rolls in an oven dish and pour the Think Tomato sauce over them.
-
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
-
Add the Gruyère cheese and return to the oven for another 5–10 minutes.
Enjoy!
The kids absolutely love this dish — and it’s so easy!
