Ingredients

1 packet of rice (or cooked in a rice cooker)

2 chicken breasts, cut into pieces

1 jar of thick tomato sauce

Optional: fresh basil
Instructions

Heat a splash of olive oil in a pan.

Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat.

If using a packet of rice, cook the rice according to the instructions.

Add the thick tomato sauce and the cooked rice to the cooked chicken pieces.

Let everything simmer together for 5 minutes.

Optional: serve with fresh basil.
