This pizza is unbelievably delicious!
So simple, yet packed with intense flavour. Adrien made this pizza for me in his Vonken oven. On the Vonken Ovens website, you’ll find even more great pizza inspiration (and much more!).


🕑 15 minutes, all in!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of Think Tomato

  • 1 pizza dough ball (see the sourdough dough recipe made with the Thermomix on Cooking with Nan or on the Vonken Ovens website)

  • Grated or fresh mozzarella

  • Toppings: ricotta and figs

Instructions

  1. Take the pizza dough ball and gently coat it in flour.

  2. Press the dough flat with your palms, working from the centre outward. Never fold the dough — this would break the gluten structure and you won’t get a nice pizza base.

  3. Stretch the dough by moving it over the work surface with your palms, or use a rolling pin. Make sure there is enough flour underneath so the dough doesn’t stick.

    • Alternative: place the dough directly on an aluminium pizza peel with some flour underneath.

  4. Spread the Think Tomato sauce over the base, avoiding the edges.

  5. Top with mozzarella, figs, and ricotta.

  6. Into the oven — and enjoy!
