Meatballs with Egg in Think Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 jars Think Tomato

  • 5 eggs

  • 800 g mixed minced meat

  • Breadcrumbs

  • Potatoes or mashed potatoes, to serve

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil 4 eggs for about 10 minutes. Cool under running water and peel.

  2. In a bowl, mix the minced meat with 1 raw egg, salt and pepper.

  3. Add breadcrumbs and knead until you have a firm mixture.

  4. Divide the meat into 4 portions and roll into large balls.

  5. Make a hollow in each ball, place a hard-boiled egg inside, and carefully shape the meat around it to form neat balls.

  6. Place the meatballs in an oven dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.

  7. Pour the Think Tomato sauce over the meatballs and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.

  8. Serve with potatoes or mashed potatoes.
