Easy Sausage Rolls

This is an aperitif snack that I often let the kids prepare. They’re also the ones who eat it 😊


🕑 15 minutes 🍴 Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 can of mini sausages

  • Gruyère cheese

  • Puff pastry

  • 1 jar of Think Tomato

  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. Cut the puff pastry in half (as shown in the photo) and divide each half into 5 strips.

  3. Place a mini sausage at the bottom of each strip, top with some Gruyère and a spoonful of Think Tomato sauce.

  4. Roll up the pastry around the filling.

  5. Add a little lukewarm water to the egg yolk and mix well.

  6. Brush the sausage rolls with the egg yolk mixture.

  7. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, until golden.

  8. Serve with the remaining Think Tomato sauce as a dip (I like to warm the sauce slightly).
